The trail up to Beatrice Lake starts at Evans beach, follows an old mining road up Evans Creek, then Beatrice Creek and past a chain of small lakes. From Evans beach the trail is 12.5km (one way) to Beatrice Lake and a little over 950m elevation gained (20.5km one way from parking lot at Slocan city) . Camping with outhouses and food caches are provided at designated sites along the trail
Look for 2 small trees growing on top of a rock outcrop north of the campsite, Cache is at the base of one of the trees and is covered with a rock.
