We were teens of the 80s attending both high school and college in that totally awesome decade. We heve many fond memories of those years and have decided to dedicate a series of caches to that time. The cache may pertain to a newsworty event, a special moment in our lives, or the pop culture such as a song, artist, movie, etc.
This one is for another member of the Jackson family. One of our first caches in this series was dedicated to this individuals older and well known brother, Michael. Janet is star in her own right both on the small screen and the pop chart. She did appear in the variety show, The Jacksons in 1976.She later appeared in Good Times and Different Strokes. Her debut music album was in 1982 and was titled Janet Jackson and her second album was titled Dream Street. Both albums received little attention and acclaim and were produced by her father, Joe Jackson.
For her third album, she had left her family and hired a new producer and it was titled Control. It was released in February 1986 and hit the top position in the Billboard 100. The album including such great hits: Control, What Have You Done for me Lately and NASTY. Little sister was no longer in the shadow of big brother and was making a name for herself.

The contnainer is a recycled from a previous cache that we had to archive. Can you figure out which one? We found a good local to replace and hope it continues to have a long life. A few of you may remember it and it will not be as difficult this time. I hope you enjoy.
