The Frederick Weston Forest on Purchase st. is a 220 acre park with walking and horseback riding trails. The blue trail takes you around the entire perimeter of the forest,the red trail brings you across the top of a beautiful ridge line and the yellow trail will take you through pine groves and grassy trails. Directly across the st. is Rocky Gutter Wildlife management area. There is no hunting allowed in this town owned forest.Ther is a large parking area on Purchase st. Cache is a small box with camo covering. Started with a logbook,pencil,sharpener and a couple of Hot Wheels for the kids. Replacement Cache hidden on 4/7/19. Moved it about 100 ft off trail.
