Belle Isle Cachers: Our good friend and partner as the Belle Isle cachers Brummelbear got to look down and over all the cachers that came out for these memorial caches to him for 3 years, the longest any of our caches stayed active. A get honor to a great guy, we sure miss you, Leo!!
Thank you to all who have come in search of this cache. It is time for new caches on Belle Isle.

Geocache Description:


CB is the short for Celebrate Brummelbear (4-7-1944 – 3-17-2018). Leo’s vision of events in Detroit and on Belle Isle live on in his memory.


Brummelbear’s BI – Block Head was placed for the 2009 Belle Isle event. The original cache was at these exact posted cords and was a small container. Unfortunately the original hiding spot is gone so a short multi cache has been set up with the post cords being stage one.
