Geocache Description:

Have you seen it? Somewhere there’s a shoe but it's not here. The shoe, last I saw, was around here somewhere. Who saw my shoe last?

Like all smart geocachers, bring your own tools. Please put the log back in the lid before reassembling the cache.

Every year the Escapees Geocaching Birds of a Feather group gather in the desert after the Big Tent event to celebrate all things geocaching. Typically, there are some attendees who've just gotten started geocaching and still wonder what it's all about.

This group of 10 caches is intended to serve as a fun introduction to the various types of current physical caches. Six of them (including this one) are located within approximately 1/2 mile and are accessible via high clearance vehicles. You'll appreciate a narrow vehicle in a couple spots unless you want some new pinstriping souvenirs. Of course, you could park at the south end of the group and enjoy a walk through the desert. The other four caches are easier to approach with a wide variety of vehicles.
