Welcome to the HD JP Memorial Geoart. This series is to honor our dear friend HD JP who left us too soon in October of 2018. At the time of his passing he had found an amazing 61,825 caches. He was a prolific finder, #1 in Virginia, and a wonderful person always willing to help others enjoy our hobby as he did. HD JP also enjoyed hiding caches, before his caches were adopted in late 2018 he had placed 43 caches. In particular he liked mystery caches and over the years he hid 11 of these as well. He will be sorely missed, but he won't soon be forgotten as this geoart will allow his memory to live on!
Thanks to altbiers for helping with this project by making room on the trail for these new caches. Thanks also to andyw3901, vabreeze, lware14 and hikevirginia for help with the art and the placement and the puzzles.
About the series. There are currently 52 caches placed in his honor. Solve a quick puzzle to get the location of the cache. You will have to review HD JP's public profile on geocaching.com and study his finds and stats to gain the correct answers.
