Moturau Moana Gardens is New Zealand's southern most public gardens and has a variety of native plants cared for by the Department of Conservation and volunteers. It takes around 1 hour to walk from Halfmoon Bay to the gardens or there are electric bikes to hire in Oban.
This geocache is located at the lookout which has great views looking towards Halfmoon Bay. It is a great spot to sit and watch the coming and goings of the boats as well as a good place to visit at night for kiwi spotting.
