Note: Trout Lake Nature Center is currently charging $5 a vehicle for non-members per visit.

Trout Lake Nature Center covers 230 acres on the north edge of Eustis. The property has several nice trails. Hours are 9 am to 4 pm Tuesday thru Saturday and 1 to 4 pm on Sunday. There are rest rooms in the Charles Newell Hall at the center of the property. Update: Director Eileen Tramontana informed us that there are no true palmettos on the Trout Lake property. These are actually young cabbage palms. You are looking for a waterproof match holder. Cache was placed with the permission of the director. This is meant to be a more challenging hide, so no hint.
