This is a wonderful area to get a great shot of the mountains no matter what the season. Line Springs road is sometimes refered to as the secret entrance to the Smokies. If you continue out of the valley on this road you will find trails to the Walker Sister's Cabin, a one room school house, and Metcalf Bottoms river side picnic area.
