This geocache is dedicated to Ms. Torbett and her 3rd hour Writing for the College Bound, class of 2019.
One of the last essays I had to write in the class was a process paper, and I came up with the idea of "How to Create and Place Your Very Own Geocache." Somehow, I managed to convince her that if anyone in the class could find this geocache, they would get extra credit—oh, excuse me. Additional credit. I also somehow convinced her to let the class go outside and find a geocache that just so happened to be right across the street. The students must take a selfie of them signing the log book WITHOUT the geocache itself in frame and show it to Ms. Torbett in order to get additional credit. So please keep in mind, if you some some roughhousing teens rummaging through the woods, just know that they're probably desperate for that additional credit and would be grateful for any (minimal) help you can give them.
This geocache is designed to be as simple as simple can be, without being boring (cough cough LPCs cough cough). Even though I dread park-and-grabs, this is so newcomers can ease themselves into the wonderful world of geocahing. So if you have a friend that's sorta kinda interested in geocaching, this is the cache for them.
And please, if you have any extra SWAG to spare, please consider donating to this cache. It's in desperate need of it.
Enjoy!
