Geocache Description:

Valenciana is beautiful. I love the contry. The beaches and the mountains. Especielly the mountains. Magnifico! The geocaches to. So many! 64922 traditionals in Spain in total; 10087 mysteries. Both per 30.11.2018. But this is supposed to be about traditionals. D1.5 is the most common, and with the exception of D1 (appx 4000) there is a steady decline in cache frequency down to D5. The sum of all the D5's is only 178 caches. Not much. The rearest D5 is the 5/3, together with 5/3.5 and 5/4.5 - SEVEN each in all of Spain! And the closest being in Cataluña, Tarragona. And then there's one in Madrid...Way too far.

Quite a lot of geocacheandros are interested in cache statistics. On average "a bit" interested I think. But the standard deviation is quite large, meaning that most of the geocachers are a little interested, some are not interested at all, and some are very interested. This is what's called a statistical distribution. Sometimes the curve looks like a bell, and is called (obviously) aBell curve. Sometimes the curve it is flat and is called a flat or even distribution. Sometimes it looks a little like a fish of sorts, and is called a poisson distribution, which is french for... (That right!) "fish". The geocacheandros at each end of the scales (far left and far right on the distribution) are what's called (in statistical terms) outliers. I belong to the last group, and can sometimes be almost obsessed with statistics. I almost weep when I'm hunting a specific type of cache with a specific (and often rare) DT-combination (Like this one....), and it is nowhere to be found.

Well, cry no more, my fellow estadísticos - by heart or profession. The time of sorrow is ending; the sun is once again shining and salvation is near: Time has come to feast on the holy grail of traditonal geocaches: the first D5/T3 in Valenciana (and, hence, an anomaly from the usual distribution pattern of D's and T's)! Enjoy!

The container is obviously hidden, but the climb is not bad at all. However, long pants is recommended - In summer too. Other than that:

Feliz geocaching!
