Welcome to LMSP Geo-Event VIII

It's that time again to continue this great annual event!!  

 

The Friday night trivia contest and the Sunday CITO will still be there.

When
April 6th, 2019
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where
Lake Manatee State Park
20007 SR-64
Bradenton, FL

 

Registration - begins at 8:00 a.m.
Lunch - 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
Raffle - 1:00 p.m.

This year's cache theme will be Harry Potter!

If you plan to join us for lunch please post a Will Attend log and
include the number of guests that will be coming with you and
the side dish you intend to bring to share with everyone.

We will be providing all beef hot dogs, hot dog buns, condiments,
bio-degradable plastic ware, paper plates and napkins.
You just bring the side dishes.

Be sure to bring your own ice and drinks. (no alcohol)

There will be 40+ caches in the park this year.
All but onoe cache will be new.
Some will be easy others will be very evil and nasty...

Other Information:

Admission to the park is $5.00 per vehicle with 2 to 8 people,
$4.00 for single occupant vehicles,
$2.00 for Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers and
passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

If you want to spend the weekend in the park, camping is available for $22.00 per night. Make your reservations early because the 24 available campsites go quickly. 



If "camping" is not your thing, there are about 6 motels less than 10 miles from the park entrance.

Donations of raffle prizes will gladly be accepted and greatly appreciated.
