This day is jam-packed with activities for all ages. Make a cardboard car for a “drive-in” movie at Darcy Library, go bowling with frozen turkeys at Beulah Park during the chili cookout, test your snowball-throwing accuracy at the target competition, take your kids ice fishing, watch the parade, and wrap the day up with fireworks at a bonfire on the beach!
About the Geocache:
Enjoy your walk in Seidman Park. You can take either the Yellow Trail or the Yellow Trail Main Loop to the posted coordinates. The coordinates will bring you to the trails' northernmost meeting point.
From here, continue along the trail to the NW. You will walk up and down some hills on the way there. Some spots might be a little slick from the mud, so please be careful!
After walking about 450 ft., you will come upon a tree that stands in the middle of your path. From this tree, calculate a projection of 127 ft. at 309 degrees. If you did it correctly, the prize you seek will be inside of a somewhat-recently fallen tree.
