Watch the excitement as award-winning sculptures use chainsaws, chisels, and blowtorches to create over 50 stacked ice sculptures in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Two days of ice will produce amazing carvings! Sculptures are available for viewing 24 hours a day in front of participating business and will remain standing after the event – weather permitting. There will also be a display of ice sculptures at the corner of Ashmun St and Portage Ave near the pavilion structure. Saturday evening at 6pm gather at the corner of Ashmun St and Portage Ave for ICE WARS!!! The carvers will go head to head with chainsaws and chisels competing for the approval of the crowd!
