Big Bang Obsession - Cache 10 of 14 - Leslie (II) Traditional Cache

This series of 14 geocaches is dedicated to my favorite television comedy show - The Big Bang Theory. Created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, the series premiered on CBS in September of 2007. At the time of the construction of these geocaches, the series has just wrapped up it's 10th season and has all ready been renewed for two more! I am still hopeful that it will be picked up for an additional two years after that, so I decided to do a series of 14 caches bringing the 14 favorite characters to the forefront.

Our last colleague in the University is Leslie Winkle,played by none other than Sara Gilbert, who was on the popular comedy show Rosanne, and is currently one of the hosts of the morning show - The View.

With a PH.D., Leslie is an experimental physicist at the California Institute of Technology who works in the same laboratory as Leonard. She is essentially his female counterpart, equipped with the same black framed glasses and zippered hoodies.

Whenever depicted in the lab, she is always using the equipment improperly to prepare food, such as flash freezing a banana with liquid nitrogen and then shattering it with a hammer to put it on her cereal, or using a helium-neon laser to heat a cup of instant soup.

She dates Leonard on-and-off and then later Howard. Because of her shallow and manipulative nature, she is arguably the central antagonist for the second season - although the only true hostility that she ever displays is toward Sheldon.

Leslie's original cache was archived, so this now counts as a NEW cache for those of you that found this before!!!
