The flying HAG! Perfect for an urban birdwatching tour for local denizens and visitors. A 7km walking or biking loop in the most scenic and historic parts of Victoria, with plenty of caches along the way, including 5 in this series. Of course, if you prefer to drive, you should find a parking spot nearby.
This cache brings you to Goodacre Lake, a feature of Beacon Hill Park, Victoria's largest park. Here, you will see hooded mergansers, mallards, American widgeons (in winter), heron roosts and... turtles.
This cache disappeared a few times. It has been replaced and moved to a new location on 2019-10-10. The replacement cache is a black bison tube hanging less than 30 cm from the ground. You must access from Douglas Street. Be stealthy and replace exactly as you found it since the hint will no longer apply otherwise.
This area is very popular with residents and tourists alike.
