The flying HAG! Perfect for an urban birdwatching tour for local denizens and visitors. A 7km walking or biking loop in the most scenic and historic parts of Victoria, with plenty of caches along the way, including 3 in this series.(There used to be 5 caches, but #2 and #3 have been archived.) Of course, if you prefer to drive, you should find a parking spot nearby.
You are in the heart of Beacon Hill Park, near the farm, near the ponds. Birds and farm animals all around you. But the most spectacular (and the most noisy bird) is the magnificent peacock. You should encounter many while walking towards the cache.
The cache has been muggled a few times and has been replaced by a test tube in May 2020. We prefer big caches, but, unfortunately, when they are muggled, the travel bugs disappear with the cache. Be stealthy. This is a very crowded area.
Cover up with debris when you replace.
