Geocache Description:

Here you will find a mural celebrating the legacy of the Billy Line. The old track has since been transformed into a picturesque trail for pedestrians and cyclists which leads towards the Southmoor Nature reserve, a site of special scientific interest.

Southmoor Nature Reserve:

This coastal grazing marsh sits on the edge of Langstone Harbour, and is extremely valuable for birds. Skylarks use the marsh as a breeding site, and a great many waders and wildfowl roost here at high tide. The scrub areas are home to many species of small birds, including linnets, greenfinches and goldfinches. The wet grassland is home to a diverse range of wildlife, and southern marsh orchids grow here in abundance. So bring your binoculars with you.
