FINAL LOCATION and PUZZLE CHANGED 09/08/18.
This cache is called a Holiday Cache because it used to contain tacky Christmas and other holiday items. Unfortunately, this cache has had a difficult history starting when it was destroyed by an industrial brush whacker in 2004, and it has been muggled several times since. The trail has much more use than when I placed the cache in 2002, so to keep this old cache active, this time I hid a smaller container by a lone tree. Next the tree was sawed down and the cache again destroyed by an industrial weed whacker. Now is is in a safer location along the fence. This cache is on a lesser-used one-mile section on the Interurban Trail between 164th St. SW and Maple Rd. The entrance is on 13th Ave W near Crane Aerospace (N47 50.734, W122 15.099). Park in the public parking at the fire station across the street. The cache is about 1/2 mile from the entrance.
To make the cache more interesting, you have to solve a small puzzle in order to find the actual cache coordinates. There is a sign explaining the Interurban Trail at the entrance. The clues to the actual cache location are all on this sign.
