We came in the hard way to place this cache so I'm not sure which trail to take from the highway. Elevation changes about 400-500 feet. Cache is at 8,947ft.
We were on our Church Youth Group campout at the Mt. Rose Summit campground. We went looking for the Willams Gang Cache and placed this one on the way back. There is beautiful scenery everywher you look.
