In September of 2018 the geocaching playground I have grown to adore was ravaged by a swift and brutal wildfire. Scrutinizing burn maps revaled that many tried and true caches were potentially lost, including several of my own. Very recently I received notification that the 50 beloved boy scout puzzles had been let go with a wish that the area should be repopulated. I'm happy to have some new grounds with which to share my passion for Payson Canyon with y'all. My gratitude is extended to Baldin' Eagle for enticing me to the area with his ambitious scout series that helped me explore the depths and heights on display for those willing to wander.
This cache is meant as a tribute to all the caches that have fallen to the fire, and a spark to ignite the rebirth of these beautiful grounds.
