This is one fun road to wind your way along with amazing views on either side. I would be reluctant to come up from the Mayfied Road end on a wet day in a 2WD, but it's otherwise accessible if you take it slow. It's mostly single lane, but I expect you're not going to see a lot of traffic, particularly on the Mayfield Road end (the landowners along the stretch appear to head out to Victor way). Because it is surrounded by thick vegetation on either side, I'd avoid the track on Total Fire Bans.
If you look out, past the cows and the vegetation, you can see the ocean on either side of the Fleurieu Peninsula. You'll need to climb the verge to find the cache, and watch out for slitheries.
About the Series:
Many days, as I tire of my usual commute home through Kuitpo Forest, I head down random dirt roads to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula. There is a wealth of beautiful views from high roads that meander along hill ridges and crests. Each of the caches in this series are located at an isolated hidden view, along some of the high roads of the Fleurieu. This series would be a nice trail to chase on a Sunday road trip around the Fleurieu.
