Carousel is a 1945 Rodgers & Hammerstein musical written after their highly successful geocaching trail across Oklahoma! Two young girls search for a cache on a carousel. Billy is a carnival barker who can't resist the allure of a smiley so he sneaks off to geocache with the girls. He gets fired and becomes a geocaching bum. He finds acceptance in a geo community that doesn't care about your station in life, they only care about your obsession with tupperware and bison tubes.
Billy and Julie fall in love and become the top geocaching pair in the area. Until they are caught logging caches they didn't find. The story takes a sad turn when Billy dies in a freak bushwhacking accident. Heaven's geocaching court sentences him to 15 years without a smiley. Julie gets lost in the wild and sadly sings "What's The Use Of Wherigos". Billy's ghost shows up and comforts her by singing the famous song "You'll Never Cache Alone".
The musical also features a non-Florida geocaching song "Mister Snow", and a tribute to Mrs Fridge's retirement "June Is Caching Out All Over".
