Geocache Description:

Number 1256 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

The letter box is classed as a wall box and was made by W. T. Allen & Co. London. This wall box dates from the reign of Edward VII and is the only one of this type in the NG23 postcode. The telephone kiosk is now home to a defibrillator.
