This is a short trail, going round in a loop, where you can hunt the “Fairy Trail” and the “Ruff Road”. You can start from the car park at the castle (Cache 1: Log the Fairy Door) and take a leisurely walk through the Chinese Garden, down the hill towards the Fairy Glen, along the shores of Loch Lomond, before heading back up the hill to the castle. Shouldn’t take much more than an hour. This is a seasonal cache (previously “Fairy Trail for Christmas”), set on a trail less frequently followed - the fairy trail. It offers a beautiful viewpoint of the Burn of Balloch. If you follow the path round, you'll find the Whirly Brae and it will lead you right down to Loch Lomond. The path can be quite steep depending on your direction of travel and can get muddy and slippy. This cache has space for swaps and trackables. Please ensure this is well covered and leave it as you found it. Congrats to Braddaz on the FTF
