This cache is located in a less traveled area of the Big River management area, 8,600 acres were bought from 351 owners for the Big River Reservoir planned since 1928 as a drinking water backup for the Situate Reservoir. There are different views & aspects regarding how this entire area was taken by eminent domain then once it was deemed not feasible how it was changed to open space so the prior owners could not purchase their land back. Scattered about the entire area are pieces of history in the form of ruins that once stood and meant something to someone. Now one can only stumble across such an area and wonder what its use was and the stories it hides within. This cache is located in one of those areas that at some point many memories were made. Wandering around the area only makes one ask themselves what actually went on back here.
The trail leading in from the road is well defined as with all the trails in the area of the cache. Spend some time there after finding the cache wandering about to take in all mystery the area has to hold. This area reminds me of scenes from The Walking Dead TV series, the cache name & hint are named after episodes along with the trackable starting off from here. There are various paths leading about some open, some paved & some bushwhacking. Who knows what will turn up around each turn or under each rock. The coordinates listed for the cache will bring you to the area it's in but the reading was not taken standing on top of the cache It was purposely recorded like this but is still well with in geocaching aspects. A small ( or large) amount of searching will need to be done. This will all be clear once in the area combined with the hint if you so choose to look at the hint.
Please leave cache just as you find it , Thanks Swag bag for FTF
