The Scouts (BSA) "Cache to Eagle" series is a National program to highlight past Eagle Scout projects. This is the first cache for the Chester County Council (CCC), celebrating our council's 100th anniversary!
The posted coordinates will take you to the Landenberg Interpretive Kiosk. This Eagle project, by a scout from Troop 53, Octoraro District of the Chester County Council, was dedicated in November, 2015. It includes the Landenberg Junction Trail Interpretive Kiosk showing history of the area and the trail, as well as the platform and bench surrounding the kiosk.
Visit the Landenberg Junction Preserve and kiosk, the nearby amphibian pond and rain garden, and hike the abandoned trail beds of the Wilmington & Western and Pomeroy & Newark Railroads, paralleling through this Preserve.
Please observe New Garden Township Trails rules. Trails are open from dawn to dusk. Dogs must be leashed. No horses or bikes. Do not disturb surrounding trees or plants. Placed with permission of New Garden Township.
