From the top of Pauleen Peak, we saw this huge pile of rocks that looked like a small fortress not too far away. Of course, we had to check it out. Upon arriving, we were very impressed with the effort needed to build this, but we weren't really sure of the reason. I climbed up to the top for. photo and as I was looking down, I saw the letters E, S, W & N. IT IS A COMPASS!!! You're looking for a small glass jar at the bottom of the SE face.
