WARNING: Gun hunting for deer is usually the first 2 full weeks in November. Bow hunters could be in here starting in October. You may be better off to come earlier, or later. Wear blaze orange if you do decide to do come during the season (heck if you have it, it can't hurt to have it on any time you come looking for this one).
Note: Do not park at the south of, or along Bearhill road. On occasion trucks drive the side roads at the south end of Bearhill, and so the more room they have, the better (that also means do NOT drive on the road that is west or east of the end of Bearhill road). Just park along Rocky Creek Way or Pleasant Creek Drive and walk from there. All of the Autobot caches are in the huge forest to the south, well away from any side road anyway (and clearly used by Autobots at least...).
This poor Autobot was minding his own business (bird watching in the forest) when a bomb exploded out of nowhere killing him.
His Energon Cube went flying, and can be found here: N 45° 17.(A+2)(B-1)5' W 76° 03.(C+5)(D+2)4'
First navigate to Stage 1 and observe the 'object' at that location
A = 1 if there are several Autobot mobility devices, 2 if there is an Autobot defense lookout platform, 3 if there is a large roll of metallic perimeter defense material, or 4 if there is a ventilation pipe leading to a hidden underground Autobot base.
Now navigate to the site of the deceased Autobot (Stage 2)
B = 1 if the Autobot is a car, 3 if the Autobot is a truck, 5 if the Autobot is a skidoo, or 7 if the Autobot is something else
C = 1 if the Autobot is blue, 3 if the Autobot is red, 5 if the Autobot is purple, 7 if the Autobot is black...
D = 1 if the Autobot is normal side up, or 5 if the Autobot is upside down.
Be sure to private message me if you know of any other undiscovered Autobot burial grounds (old cars/trucks/motorcycles/skidoos or random scraps of metal) in, or near, Ottawa ;) - and don't forget to 'favorite' these if you are enjoying the series (this also increases the visibility of this series, and will draw in more cachers).
