From the Destin Bridge over East Pass, proceed East on HWY 98 for approximately 20 miles. Turn South onto HWY 283 and travel 1.15 miles to a large sign on your left that reads "Leaving Point Washington State Forest." The base of this sign is covered with large rocks and is hard to miss. Park on the shoulder of the road and enter the trail between the two wooden posts. The terrain is level Pine flatwoods and the "trail" is overgrown in many areas.
The cache is hidden in a clear plastic cookie jar. It holds the following items:
F-19 Stealth fighter prototype
Giant Ring-neck lizard
Black cadillac(the prefered mode of transportation for Men in Black)
Small compass(Many paranormal events are known to produce minor fluctuations in the local magnetic field and effect compasses. Also useful for navigation!)
Mini-caribiner
Please bring a pen to fill out the log book, as I forgot to place one in the cache. Also, please re-camouflage the cache container.
WARNING: Be on the lookout for small scorpions (yes we have scorpions in Florida!)along the trail. They are fond of the sandy, scrub oak habitat in the area and several were spotted when I was placing the cache. The good news is they are only about an inch long and deliver a sting similar to a bee sting.
