I love these old steam engine foundations - just a pity the engines are long gone
I don't know much of the history of this mine but it was obviously a sizeable operation in it's day
Green hill lake was constructed from swap land in the late 70's early 80's & has become a noted camping spot with all sorts of water sports such as swimming, fishing, boating , skiing & even sailboarding.
This cache is close to a swimmimg beach so would be nice to find in between dips on a hot day.
Clue for Pink Floyd fans - pudding ? how can you eat your pudding if you haven't eaten yor meat.
