The so-cal amigo's decided that it was time to place a cache on the famous Route 66 and what better place than where it all began than at the Santa Monica Pier.We were a bit suprised at the lack of caches in the area so maybe this one will be the start of something.
We placed THREE travel bugs in it to attract a little attention. Betty Boop, A Harley and a Classic 56 Corvette. The Harley and the Corvette are in a race to see which one will get to Chicago first. Betty Boop just wants to have fun.
So lets get this party started. The given coordinates are for the starting point where your feet touch the sand. From here lifegaurd tower #16 is south and the cache is north of you. If you were standing at the following coordinates you would be standing over the cache N34 00.521 W118 29.837. Be sure to bring a flashlight. DAY or NIGHT
