May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. - Edward Abby

As with most virtual caches, it is not the destination that is important, it is the journey. Have a safe and memorable journey.
DANGER
Although the Cape Final Trail is well maintained and moderately exerting, there are NO GAURDRAILS neither along the trail nor at the cache site. As with all other locations in the Grand Canyon, the Grand Canyon is unforgiving of mishaps, mistakes, lapse in judgment, or stupidity. The hiker or Geocacher assumes all risk and responsibility for their own safety. Do not become another fatal statistic at the Grand Canyon. Now that I have your attention, please be careful and enjoy your visit to the Grand Canyon.
BACKGROUND
My wife, MayMay, and I went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon, both the North and South Rims, in August of 2002. Although I appreciated the virtual caches in the area (only four at that time), they were all located in popular spots frequented by the average tourist. I'm a hiker and I like to get away from the crowds, so when I visited this location, I immediately wanted to make it into a virtual cache site. Enjoy.
