Cache is not at posted coordinates!!! You need to find caches Stumpette 1, GC81M4X, and Stumpette 2, GC81QTF, to complete this cache. See below.
Welcome to the Cypress Creek Natural Area. I love to hike (walk) here in the dry season. Except for the Historic Jupiter Indian Town Trail and perhaps the Jesup Trail to Jonathan Dickinson State Park it tends to be pretty quiet in the area.
There may be some Trail Guide brochures in the kiosk under the tiki hut near the posted coordinates, but don’t count on it.
Instructions:
At the posted cache coordinates (parking lot) and Stops 1 to 3 collect the information necessary to solve the equations for A through H below. Read carefully and keep notes .
At Stops 1 to 3 there are horse hitching posts, metal posts with two hoops on each. Horses apparently have personal taste on the style of hitching post they use.
Some horses like a natural setting, placed directly in the ground. Defined as natural posts or NP.
Others prefer a patio setting, placed in a concrete pad. Defined as patio posts or PP.
There are other things to observe and record as well.
A = The number of NP at Stop 2.
B = The total number of NP and PP at Stops 1 and 2.
C = The total number of NP and PP at all 3 Stops plus the number of green (teal) rectangles on a sign at Stop 2.
D = The number PP at Stop 1.
E = There is a kiosk near the east side of the parking lot at the posted cache coordinates. It’s number of posts (legs) times three plus the number of PP at Stop 1 less the sum of the numerator and denominator shown on the top mileage sign at Stop 3.
F = The number of green (teal) letters in the first word on a sign at Stop 2 plus the number of people benches in the shelter at Stop 3.
G = The integer value in the mileage to Mack Dairy Road at Stop 3.
H = The number of symbols, each hiker is a symbol, on the bottom brown sign at Stop 3, plus the number of PP at Stop 1.
Now find the cache Stumpette 1(GC81M4X). Use the values A thru H in the key stored in Stumpette 1 to solve for the latitude of the final location.
Now find the cache Stumpette 2 (GC81QTF). Use A thru H in the key stored in Stumpette 1 to solve for the longitude of the final location.
Please do not remove the key from either cache!!
There is a Signal the Frog First to Find Geocoin in the final for the first finder.
