Kings Bay Trail #8 Traditional Cache

This one continues a trail that began near the local submarine base; you will find it difficult in wet conditions, so bring the appropriate footgear.  These are all painted with camouflage colors, but the hints should put you right on the spot.  Take your time, since there is no rush to get them all in one day; they are not going anywhere.

Specific permission has been granted for placing these by the appropriate authorities, since sometimes similar trails are abused.  You have plenty of room to pull off on the shoulder, and there is not much traffic except midafternoon when there is a shift change on the base.  Even then, I would not describe the traffic as heavy.  These are almost always found at the outer edge of the right-of-way.

You will find a pint-sized medicine bottle with appropriate camouflage; hope you will trade for some of the goodies or tokens I have left inside.
