This is where old farm equipment comes to die. This is behind the apple orchard. From the parking lot, go left around the orchard. There are some nice views up here, especially in winter and spring when the hills are all green. This is an interesting location. If you look to the east all you see is hills. If you look to the west all you see is urban sprawl. It's a great reminder of just how lucky we are to have such a nice park in the middle of all this! This is also the home of Pubble the Pond Hopper travel bug. Just below this location is Jordan Pond. There is a bench on top of the hill just a short walk to the south. Nice place to rest and soak up some nature and maybe have a snack. This is probably not a good cache in the rain or for the few days after the rain as the trail will be muddy.
