These are good starter caches, since they are relatively easy to find, but in a variety of sizes all the way from little micro nano containers to something about the size of an ammo can. Also, even though they are within the right-of-way, there is plenty of room on a firm shoulder and you can park within 20 feet or so of the container. Permission has been granted by the proper authorities for their placement. Westbound traffic here is usually very light, except for 3-5 in the afternoon on weekdays, when military personnel and civilian employees from Kings Bay Submarine Base are leaving for the day.
Be careful and pull well off the pavement. I have left some goodies and a couple of tradable tokens in the container. It will be interesting to see how many folks follow the rule to leave something of equal or greater value in the container in exchange for what is taken out. There is enough in here for a number of such exchanges. BYOP, since this one did not have room for it.
Be prepared for significant water presence to cross over to this one; it may even be floating in times of heavy rainfall! You are looking for a pint-sized container that is paint-camouflaged.
