Un-SubDivided Traditional Cache

Gentle hills, not too far from where you can park -- if you park in the right place. The way I heard it, this area was to have been a subdivision. Unfortunately for them (perhaps fortunately for us) the developer ran out of money and the area reverted ownership to the State of Wisconsin. True? False? Don't know for sure. But I do know it's a neat little state rec area. Stop at the South entrance and check out the extra info at the info board.
There are several little roads and cul-de-sacs in this area. If you get to the right one, the walk is relatively short. If you park in the wrong one, well -- have fun. The cache is in a smallish tupperware-type container. It's got a couple custom "OuttaHand Geo-Team" pencils, toy kaleidoscopes, soccer ball bouncy balls, etc. It's fairly small so bring a small trade. I would love it if you brought an interesting key chain to trade. I collect key chains. I will periodically remove them and re-stock with other items. There are also MANY little colorful shaped erasers. Please take one for each person in your group IN ADDITION to your trade/s. Have fun and enjoy the area. It's a camo job so might be a bit tougher to spot. Also -- please read the logs. Driving all the way to the best parking spot can be tough on cars. 4x4's probably not an issue, but cars might find the "roads" a bit nasty. 4/2/04--- Archived.
