Geocache Description:

The longer I live in Seattle, the more I fall in love with the Ballard neighborhood. There are plenty of registered historic areas: Ballard Carnegie Library, Fire Station No. 18, Ballard Avenue Historic District, Ballard Bridge, and of course the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks. Ballard's unofficial motto is "uff da", which comes from an Almost Live! sketch that made fun of its Scandinavian culture.

I usually find myself in Old Ballard, popping into the quaint boutique stores, swooping in a bar to grab a drink, or meeting friends at one of the many amazing restaurants down the strip (I’m still hoping that I’ll run into PNW restaurant mogul Tom Douglas, who lives around the area!).

This cache is located on a quieter Ballard street, yet plenty to do after finding this cache. Happy caching!.
