Welcome to the Hamtun Street Mural!

This wherigo will bring you to Hamtun Street, in the old part of Southampton city centre. A large mural is displayed there, and you'll now have the chance to learn some of the history of the city through art and geocaching. Hopefully, it should take no more than about 15 minutes and involves relatively little walking.  I hope you'll enjoy the art, and learning some more about the history of the city, in a pretty part of the town. Please be stealthy when retrieving the cache.

There's just one zone in this wherigo, which will involve a number of questions and observations. Terrain wise, you'll be asked to walk the length of Hamtun Street, then a short distance to the location of the final hide. The whole route has pavements and the roads are seldom busy, but please take care anyway! There may be some gentle steps involved in this cache, and I hope it will be generally suitable for all. Public parking is available on the street nearby, or there are numerous public transport opportunities to get here. Instructions are included within the wherigo.

This cartridge can be played on Wherigo compatible GPS units and phone apps. This wherigo works well on my clunky old iPhone. If you spot any bugs whilst playing please let me know and I'll do by best to fix them. Please ensure you are using the Latest Release: 9/26/2018 Version: 1.2 as earlier versions have a bug which will prevent completion of the tour.
