Kings Bay Trail #26 Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
In the unlikely event you have not stumbled upon this trail, it begins near the Kings Bay Submarine base, home of the East Coast Trident Missile submarines, along with a couple of special ops type submarines known as SSGN's--all nuclear powered and heavily armed. The first few miles are along a divided city road, and you should be heading west during your search if you want to be efficient in looking for these caches.
Permission has been granted by the proper authorities for the placement, and westbound traffic is usually very light, except for 3-5 in the afternoon on weekdays, when military personnel and civilian employees in the sub base are leaving for the day. Be careful and pull well off the pavement.
This one is a very small paint-camouflaged jar, and like most of the ones on the trail, near the outer edge of the right-of-way. Pay attention to the attributes, and you will be better prepared to reach it. BYOP.
