Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Jinheng Park in Taroko National Park.

Jinheng Park (and the bridge next to it) is named after a man who was killed in the construction of the Central Cross Island Highway, the road that passes this spot. This park contains a bust of this man as well as several shops and restrooms and is a popular rest stop for people walking along the Swallow Grotto Trail 燕子口步道.

Many visitors to this park get dropped off by buses/vans at the beginning of the Swallow Grotto Trail (see trail head way point) and walk here but you can also drive your car/motorcycle/bicycle quite close to the cache, parking on the side of the road that passes by.

It is really hard to get an accurate GPS reading in this area so a spoiler pic is included below. The cache is located in the area shown in this pic. Unless you are tall, you will have to reach up.

Muggles abound so please be stealthy when you are looking for this cache. Feel free to post pics of the log but please do not post pics of the cache container.
