Geocache Description:

A follow up from kiwi_explorer cache GC7XTPT which also starts here.
He mentions his urban ride , and this cache takes in a section that missed the cut, and another that is a modification to the original ride.

Published co-ordinates take you to a a lookout by the war gun placement. No need to go behind the barrier or leave the path for this cache.
After taking in the view, count the number of concrete pile "stumps" Result is A, B, Use this formula to give the location of a council sign. It is on a reserve, closest entrance to the waypoint is private property, go to the various public access points, there are several.

.

So, take a wander, enjoy the view and then work out where the cache is....also in council reserve. Go with Kiwi_Explorer on his urban no mud bike ride, and you can grab the final on the way. He goes winter or when else where is wet.

Cache has a log book but no pen.

So.....at the start point, count the concrete pile "stumps"
The total is A , B.
C = A+B

 then , head to S14 16.(C+B)(C+A)9 E173 15.(C+B)(A+B-C)A

Here you will come to a council sign.

Using the info on the sign, you can work out the cache location.

 Final is S41 17.DEF E173 15.GHK>/br>where....
D = number of letters in first line DX
E = numbers third line second word
F = number of letters fourth line first word
G = number of letters third line six word
H = number of letters first line second word
K = E +F
If biking, suggest you take the higher entrance to the cache.

All the digits of the final coords add to 52

Update 25 Nov 2019, things have changed a bit, including the sign at WP2, but seems it still works. Cache page not quite correct now, but does not effect the cache result.
