This little cache is placed in honor of the well-known cacher Horseshoechamp, from down in Florida. This guy has found about 40 gazillion caches all over the place, and has repaid the game many times over. He has placed more than 800 caches himself, and organizes event caches every year with a team of volunteers. They are always a lot of fun, and the one just before this cache was placed had us all bringing down gifts for the less fortunate children of the area. There were fun games to play, a ton of gifts brought, and the event was held at a place some of us did not know existed, near Maclenny, Florida. Old businesses and historic buildings had been moved to a park for the enjoyment of visitors. That place could have been a virtual cache! Horseshoechamp holds a special place in my heart for the day my car was stuck on U.S. Highway 17 on the way to an event cache. He pulled up behind me in his Jeep with his band of friends and pulled me out in seconds. Turns out we were both trying to grab the same cache on the way to the event. And he saved me from having to call the wife to come get me.
