Background
Welcome to Flinders Chase National Park, a place of mangificence and wonder, with many unique species of animals and plants.
The Cache
This cache, my first hide, is around the back of the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre. Feel free to use the hint, but only if necessary. There is a small item for trading (if you want to), finding instructions and a logbook. As the cache is small please bring your own pen. You will need to be stealthy, as muggles frequently visit the area. Very frequently, in fact. The cache may not be available around the middle of the day as people sit and eat nearby. Coming in the morning or late afternoon is your best bet, especially around Christmas and Easter.
History of the Area
The Visitor centre was constructed in 2000, while the park was formed, not as a park, but a conservation reserve, in 1919, so 2019 will be the 100th anniversary. It is home to three species of seals, and endangered animals such as White-Bellied Sea Eagles and Kangaroo Island Dunnarts. 16km south are Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, which are two very popular coastal landmarks.
