Hier beginnt der 3 km lange Königsweg zur Jagthütte Hohe Kammer. König Ludwig I ist hier unzählige mal zur Auerhahnjagt langgekommen.

Auch seine Geliebte, Lola Montez hatte ihn ab und zu hier hoch begleitet.

Es ist NICHT das Vogelhäuschen am ersten Baum!
