Ulysses Mcgill is the protagonist from one of my favourite films by Ethan and Joel Coen, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". Ulysses acts as an adaptation of Odysseus in the ancient Epic by Homer, The Odyssey. Moreover, Polyphemus is a well known antagonist in the ancient epic against Odysseus.
