Year of Puzzles - December Mystery Cache

The final installment in my year of puzzles, and almost undoubtedly the trickiest puzzle of the lot. For those of you asking if this series will be continuing into 2019, the answer is no. I'm working on a new traditional series with bonus cache elements which will hopefully be out in a month or so. But there may well be a return at some point. 

So, to the puzzle. Find the values for A to E and substitute them into the formula below.

B = Winter Solstice 2020 (northern hemisphere)

C = Three minutes before a quarter past five

D = The Titanic struck the iceberg

E = "Munich Clock", Manchester
