Geocache Description:

"I only regret that I have but one cache to give for my country" - Nathan Hale, September 22, 1776
Ok, that might not be a completely accurate quote. But the fact that this little corner of Huntington is named for the famed American Revolution hero is a pretty cool piece of local trivia.

This being our first hide, we figured it might as well include an interesting part of history that took place in our own backyard. The location of the cache will bring you to the very spot on Long Island where Hale is said to have landed on his fateful mission for George Washington. Today the area is a quiet spot with a fantastic view of Huntington Bay - and Connecticut when it's clear. The cache is a magnetic nano.
