A Little Bit About the Area
All stages of this cache are in Washington Township in Erie County, PA. The first two stages are located at the Veteran’s Memorial Park which is just off Route 99 across from General McLane High School. The memorial park is designed to be a lasting tribute to our heroes in uniform, and was built as an Eagle Scout project by Blake Sweigart. The memorial and the area around it are intended to be a reflective memorial to the community's veterans. There is a parking area, a bench to sit on and view the overall site, paved paths, the memorial and a gazebo up on a small knoll.
